NIU MOCK TRIAL
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
NIU Mock Trial is a group of dedicated students who compete head-to-head against other colleges and universities to try simulation court cases. NIU is an American Mock Trial Association (AMTA) member school. In the fall, our teams compete in Invitational tournaments to prepare for the Postseason AMTA Tournament Circuit (Regionals, Semi-finals, National Championship). Becoming a member of NIUMT will help you fine-tune your public speaking and critical thinking skills. Our coaching can take you from your first day of practice to the National Championship in just one season.
